Getting Here By Car

For those of you who chose not to fly, getting to Toronto is pretty easy by car. Some things to consider:

Torontos major East/West Highways are: 401, 407 (Toll), Gardiner Expressway
Torontos major North/South highways are: 404, Don Valley Parkway, 400
The speed limit on the 400 series highways is 100km/h. While 90km/h elsewhere.

There are a few recommended border crossings for those of you coming from the States:

Peace Bridge (Fort Erie, ON / Buffalo, NY)
Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls, ON / Niagara Falls, NY)
Queenston-Lewiston Bridge (Queenston, ON / Lewiston, NY)

Some crossings may have a toll, so be prepared. A list of border wait times are available from the Canada Border Services Agency.
